Profile
Prof. Magdy Aboul Ela is a professor of computer science at the French University in Egypt (UFE) from 2007 to present, and a professor at Sadat Academy for Management Sciences from March 2007 to present, and was an associate professor from 2000 to 2007, and an assistant professor from 1995-2000. He was also a Scientist at IBM – Bergen Scientific Center, Norway, from 1991-1994, and IBM – Kuwait Scientific Center from 1988-1990. He has many years of consulting and software development experience. Prof. Aboul-Ela received an MS and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information from Cairo University, and his research fields were knowledge Representation and Natural Language Processing.
