Short Biography

Dr Ahmed Tawfik is an Associate Professor of Informatics and Computing at the French University in Egypt. Prior to joining the UFE, he has held academic positons in Canada and in Egypt and he has taught courses in Computer Science and in Computer Engineering. His research interests include intelligent systems, multi-agent systems, knowledge representation and reasoning, and knowledge discovery. Recently, he has also been looking at energy efficient computing issues.
